EIC Accelerator: 1,093 full applications submitted

On the first cut-off date in 2022, a total of 1,093 proposals have been submitted until the 23rd March 2022. In comparison, 801 proposals were submitted in June 2021, respectively 1,109 proposals in October 2021.

It is notable that no exponential increase in submissions occurred, even though the originally planned deadline in January 2022 had been cancelled. A potential explanation could be found in the new application process, meaning the freezing period has started to kick in for the first proposals.
