A total of 753 short applications have been submitted to the Swiss Accelerator by the 10th of May 2022,as the Swiss funding agency Innosuisse just announced.

The start-ups and SMEs requested on average 1.85 million CHF for the realisation of their high risk/high potential innovation projects.

With 35% of all applications, Life Sciences were the most popular topic, followed by ICT (25%) and Energy & Environment (15%).

Over the summer, the short applications will be evaluated and around 100 applicants will be invited to submit full proposals. At the moment, both deadline and content of the full proposal are not clear, yet. Overall, the Swiss Accelerator has a budget of CHF 86 million, meaning that approx. 40-50 innovative projects will be funded in the end.
